Physician's Formula Sale thru 12/24

If you use Physician's Formula be sure to check out CVS today or tomorrow. With your Extra card you can save $5 on every Physician's Formula product (and that's instantly not in extra bucks!) They also have a lot of makeup on clearance for 50-75% off. I saw several products in Physician's Formula and Wet 'N Wild that were 50% off (can't be combined with PF $5 deal) and several in Milani that were 75% off.

With that in mind let me tell you about the best drugstore products I've used this year. I tried a lot of Physician's Formula face products when looking for a new foundation. Their products did not work that well for my skin type but everybody's different so I'm not telling you to stay away, just can't really recommend anything. I do really like their eye products. I have the Shimmer Strips smoky collection and have used most of the colors in the palette. The color payoff is fair. I really like their Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Jumbo Lash Mascara. It comes in a shiny green leafy package and works really well. I've always used Wet 'N Wild here and there but never knew until this year that they were cruelty free. They are just about the cheapest drug store product you can find and my opinion has always been that the quality is cheap as well. I'm beginning to learn that's not always the case. I have tried a couple eyeshadow quads that turned out to be better than more expensive competitors. They also have really good basic pencil lip liners and eye liners. I have only used one Milani product so far based on encouraging reviews I had read. I purchased the Eye Tech Extreme liquid liner and so far it is my favorite liquid liner because of the control you get with it. It also doesn't smudge as much as some others I've tried. It's really encouraging to know that CVS has three brands that are cruelty free and frequently on sale. I'm eager to check out other local stores such as Walgreens or Kmart to see if I can find other brands I keep hearing about like Jordana.
